Colombian immigration authorities hand over to the police Carlos Lehder Medellin Cartel co-founder and former lieutenant to notorious drug lord Pablo Escobar. He was the first major drug lord to be extradited to the United States, where he served a sentence of more than 30 years for drug trafficking. Lehder, 75, traveled from Germany to Colombia, where the police are verifying his legal situation.
