New EU-US tariff talks set for Monday in Washington
The EU's trade chief will hold new talks with US counterparts in Washington on Monday as the two economic giants seek a negotiated end to their tariffs standoff, says a spokesperson in Brussels. Trade Commissioner Maros Sefcovic is headed to the US capital "in good faith to try and find solutions that can benefit us all," EU trade spokesperson Olof Gill tells reporters, announcing the trip.
