Second day of travel chaos as French air traffic controllers strike
The second day of strikes by air traffic controllers at French airports is affecting thousands of passengers. According to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, around 1,000 flights departing from or arriving in France have been cancelled, with 25% of flights at Paris's Roissy/Charles-de-Gaulle and Orly airports being cancelled. These two airports handle a total of 350,000 passengers per day during the summer period. IMAGES
